Graphic designer & Illustrator
HELLO!
I am a graphic designer and illustrator who recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Art and Technology and a minor in Business Administration. My passion for graphic design entails exploring creativity and visual communication. I have a drive for creating enticing visuals that I get to see come to life either digitally or through print. I love problem solving through design, enhancing brands and building a community. I would love to work with you!
Branding Design
dewdrop
Dewdrop is all about creating skincare that leaves you feeling refreshed and nourished each day. Inspired by the freshness of morning dew, I designed dewdrop as a balance between the latest design trends and everlasting functionality. From logo development to packaging design, every element reflects a minimalist yet inviting aesthetic—clean typography, bold color palette, and nature-inspired details that evoke hydration and rejuvenation.

Designing the dewdrop Identity
I wanted the logo to be something minimalist and long lasting while still conveying the playfulness of the brand. The simple typography mixed with the bold color palette creates a welcoming design that stands out on the shelf. The abstract dewdrop illustration also adds a visual marker that represents the brand identity, hinting to the hydrating effects of the products.

Grux
GRUX is a combination of ‘grit’ and ‘flux’. Life requires grit and hard work to achieve goals and fulfil visions. It also demands the flexibility and creativity to adapt to the fluctuations of the world around us. GRUX is its own unique brand in which we have the creative freedom to explore a range of concepts that drive our passion to create.
From Vision to Creation
In the end I was able to sell out of all my stock and got to personally connect with each customer!
The journey began by defining the brand’s vision, values, and target audience. With these guidelines set in place, I began the process of logo design by sketching and brainstorming countless ideations (exploring typography, icons, and symbols). These iterations were then narrowed down by communicating with other project members and outside perspectives. During this time I also developed concepts for the t-shirt designs to surround the values of the brand. After getting feedback from peers, mentors, and potential customers about what will truly sell, I settled on my final design concepts.
I brought these designs to life through Adobe Illustrator where I vectorized the artwork and mock them up to get a better idea on the final product. I made adjustments to scale, color, sizing, and placement depending on the mockups and testers. Once the t-shirts came to life, I shifted my focus to creating cohesive branding, focusing on tags, hangers, and site design for the pop up shop. Throughout this whole process, I also contributed to the print marketing and social media presence to build up excitement, build an engaging community, and advertise the event. This was a big project that encapsulated creativity, collaboration, and passion!

Art and Fashion Magazine
Throughout my time at the University of Oregon, I had the opportunity to design for Align, an art and fashion magazine run by students. With Align I created designs that brought the written pieces to life to fully immerse readers. As this was an art magazine, I was able to get creative and outside the box with many designs.
Designing the Narrative
Once articles are finalized, I worked with art directors, writers, photographers, and illustrators to bring the pages to life and highlight the written story. This consisted of brainstorming, sketching, and creating iterations in Adobe InDesign. I received feedback from the team as well as my design editor to finalize the spreads to fit not only the mood of the pieces but also the magazine theme as a whole. This process required intense attention to detail to make sure that the files were 100% ready for print and digital distribution.

With Emerald Media Group I was able to branch out and work on multiple publications at the same time while keeping a harsh deadline. From magazines, to ads, to newspapers, I was a designer and illustrator for the team.

3D Font
For this project, we had the objective to create a 3D typeface and make it digital.
I immediately thought of origami and turning paper into a font. After choosing paper as my medium, I recalled the 3D paper stars that kids used to make hundreds of while in class.
After making many, many paper hearts, I arranged them, photographed them, and edited them in Photoshop.
Type Faces
A collection of faces solely drawn from different fonts.
I restricted myself to using one font per face to demonstrate the character that each font holds and how expressive they are.
Through this process, I focused on the gesture and shape of the different typefaces.
Animated Text
These animations were all made in Procreate where I altered and morphed hand drawn typefaces to create them into some other object or shape.
